Joshua Q. Callister

Mr. Callister is an associate attorney working in the Fairfax, Virginia office. He practices primarily in complex antitrust cases and has experience in both government regulatory work and complex litigation.

A 2016 graduate of the George Washington University Law School, Mr. Callister joined the firm in 2018 following three years working as a director with a non-profit organization in Washington, D.C. focused on developing relationships between the United States and the Middle East.  He has lived for several years in both Japan and Dubai and speaks Japanese.

Mr. Callister has helped successfully resolve several significant antitrust and consumer cases, helping achieve the recovery of over two billion dollars for class members.

Representative Cases

In re: Local TV Advertising Antitrust Litigation, No. 1:18-cv-06785 (E.D. Ill.).
Ongoing representation of purchasers of broadcast television advertising spots against owners of broadcast television stations accused of conspiring to fix the price of advertising spots nationwide.

In re: Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust Litigation, No. 2:13-cv-20000-RDP (N.D. Ala.).
Mr. Callister helped lead the discovery team and worked with the trial preparation team in representation of subscriber plaintiffs against The Blues for anticompetitive behavior including allocating geographic markets among the Blues in order to reduce competition. The case resulted in a historic settlement, with class members sharing in over $2.6 billion in recovery.

In re: Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Antitrust Litig., No. C-07-5944-SC (N.D. Cal.).
Represented end users against the international manufacturers of cathode ray tubes, helping the class achieve a settlement of over $500 million.
