Christopher V. Le

Mr. Christopher Le is a partner working in the Virginia office. He has extensive experience representing groups of plaintiffs in complex civil cases in state and federal courts across the country. Mr. Le has litigated numerous class actions from initial filing through trial or settlement. He has helped successfully resolve several significant antitrust and consumer cases recovering hundreds of millions of dollars for class members.

Representative Cases:
In re: Blue Cross Blue Shield Antitrust Litigation, No. 2:13-cv-20000-RDP (N.D. Ala.).
Ongoing representation of subscriber plaintiffs against The Blues for anticompetitive behavior including, allocating geographic markets among the Blues in order to reduce competition.

In re: Broiler Antitrust Litigation, No. 1:16-cv-08637 (N.D. Ill.).
Ongoing representation of commercial and institutional indirect purchaser plaintiffs against broiler chicken producers for conspiring to fix, raise, maintain and stabilize the price of broiler chicken meat sold in the United States.

In re: Packaged Seafood Products Antitrust Litigation, No. 3:15-md-02670-JLS-MDD (S.D. Cal.).
Ongoing representation of end-payer plaintiffs against major canned tuna fish manufacturers for conspiring to fix the prices of tuna sold in the United States.

LaPlant v. Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, No. 08-cv-011988 (E.D. Wis.).
Firm appointed as co-lead counsel in state and federal court litigation alleging that the defendant breached contractual duties to owners of certain annuities by miscalculating the appropriate dividends. After a two-week trial, a Wisconsin Court found in Plaintiffs’ favor on all material issues in the litigation. Ultimately, the case was settled for $84 million dollars.

In re: Dynamic Random Access Memory Antitrust Litigation, No. 4:02-md-01486-PJH (N.D. Cal.).
Firm appointed co-lead counsel on behalf of consumers against manufacturers of Dynamic Random Access Memory for alleged price fixing. Settlements exceeding $300 million were reached with all 12 defendants.

In re: Processed Egg Products Antitrust Litigation, No. 2:08-md-02002-GP (E.D. Pa.).
Firm appointed as co-lead counsel to represent indirect purchasers in court actions alleging a market allocation scheme among producers in the egg industry.

In re: Vitamin C Antitrust Litigation, No. 1:06-md-01738-BMC-JO (E.D.N.Y.).
Firm appointed as co-lead counsel representing indirect purchasers of bulk Vitamin C against Chinese manufacturers in court actions alleging a price fixing scheme.
